Nature Park Zillertal

WE ARE LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ZILLERTAL ALPS NATURE PARK - A PEACEFUL AREA IN THE ZILLERTAL ALPS. The nature park stretches from around 1,000 m above sea level to 3,509 m across all altitude levels of the Central Alps. Depending on factors such as altitude, exposure, geological structure or the history of the respective location, very different habitats, animal and plant species can be found. Due to the vertical extension of the high mountain nature park, the number of habitats is very large and the flora and fauna very diverse. Glaciers cover a considerable part of the nature park and have always shaped the landscape. In addition to the natural factors, humans also have a strong influence on today's natural and cultural landscape. Their lifestyles and economic practices can be seen in the landscape and, especially in the Alps, make the varied and romantic mountain landscape so attractive. The high mountain nature park offers you a wide range of opportunities for relaxation. Either active in the mountains with mountain hiking, climbing, mountain biking or leisurely, leisurely long walks through the wonderful and varied nature park landscape.

Experience the special features and secrets of the nature park on one of our tours in the summer program. Let yourself be enchanted by the glittering world of minerals, by adventurous stories from the time of poachers and smugglers or by the special flair of a torchlight hike.
